When you complete a form, use the chat, or submit a file, we may collect: your name, phone number, email address, the value and address of your property, the requested financing amount, and any information you choose to share about your financial situation. We also collect certain technical data (IP address, device type) through cookies.
We use your information solely to: assess your financing request, communicate with you, prepare a loan offer, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We never sell your personal information.
By submitting a form or file, you consent to Vortex Finance collecting and using your information for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us — subject to information we are legally required to retain.
Your information may be shared with trusted providers who help us operate (hosting, email, property appraisal, legal services tied to your file), only as needed. If information were processed outside Québec, we first conduct a privacy impact assessment.
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law, then destroy or anonymize it. We apply reasonable safeguards against unauthorized access, and our default settings provide the highest level of confidentiality.
You have the right to access your information, have it corrected, request its deletion or portability, and withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact our privacy officer (section 9). We respond within the timeframes set by law.
We maintain a register of confidentiality incidents. In the event of an incident posing a risk of serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and Québec's Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law.
